About the Event
Whether job related or just from life in general, burnout and stress can seriously affect your health
and wellbeing. And, unfortunately, the “tension of too much” is on the rise for all of us both
individually and as a society. Wouldn’t it be nice to learn some quick tips for coping and work on long
term strategies for stress-conquering success?
Join Dr. Chanda Murphy for a two-hour interactive workshop that focuses on practicing calming mindfulness exercises and developing positive life and work habits to help avoid burnout.
As a professor of psychology and mindfulness consultant, Chanda has been sharing these strategies in classrooms, boardrooms and locker rooms for over 15 years and is excited to be able to offer this workshop for the first time to our local community.
Since we will be in a yoga studio setting there will be mats and cushions available to sit on but please feel free to bring a chair so that you do not have to sit on the floor the entire workshop. We will not be doing any yoga so there is no need to bring your own mat.
In the spirit of generosity, we happily offer this workshop on a donation basis. This means everyone who wants to can attend, regardless of their financial situation. Please donate what feels right to you given your circumstances. Mindful in Memphis depends on your generosity to be able to continue these offerings.
