Pema Karpo Meditation Center

Located on eleven acres in Memphis, TN, Pema Karpo Meditation Center is inspired and guided by the teachings of Nyingma Tibetan Buddhism. The founder and spiritual director of PKMC, Khenpo Gawang Rinpoche, is a Tibetan Buddhist scholar, monastic, and meditation teacher. He teaches in English and is available for interviews after the regular weekly sessions.We invite all people interested in meditation and Buddhism to come to PKMC. You do not need to be Buddhist just sincerely interested.



Weekly: Sessions are free and open to the public. 

 

Sunday at 11:00 AM: Meditation, a Teaching, and Chants

Friday at 7:00 PM: Meditation with instruction, if needed, Deep Breathing, and a Teaching

Monday through Thursday from 5:00-7:00 PM: Silent Meditation. You are welcome to come and go at any time. 

 

Monthly: 

 

The First Sunday is lunch at Thai Basil in Bartlett, TN, after service.

The Third Wednesday is a 20 minute Tonglen practice, 7:00 PM.
