Magnolia Sangha The Magnolia Sangha, associated with the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh, meets every Saturday at 2pm at St. Luke's United Methodist Church at 480 S. Highland Street, Memphis, TN 38111. We use the parking lot in back of the church. The greeter at the desk can direct you to where we meet. We practice for 1.5 to 2 hours. Memphis Zen Community The Memphis Zen Community meets for weekly practice each Monday, 5:45-7:15 PM at the Memphis Friends Meeting House (Quaker), 3387 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38111.
The Mindful Meditation Circle hosts a weekly mindful, silent meditation circle on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 8:30. The Mindful Meditation Circle meets at Jewish Family Services, located at the far west side of the Jewish Community Center (6560 Poplar Avenue) with its own entrance. The Tennessee Buddhist Vihara The Tennessee Buddhist Vihara is located at 4901 Ross Road, Memphis, TN 38141. The vihara offers Dhamma teachings, meditation practice, Buddha pujas, and other activities in the Theravada tradition. The resident monk, Ven. Rahula Pinnagoda, is a native of Sri Lanka.
